JOB PURPOSE
• Perform tyre inspection, repair, replacement, rotation, and maintenance for all vehicles and equipment used in yard and offshore logistics operations. Ensure tyres are safe, compliant, correctly fitted, and properly maintained to support operational readiness and reduce equipment downtime. Conduct checks, document tyre conditions, and support mechanics and operators with safe and reliable tyre services.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Inspect tyres for wear, damage, cuts, pressure loss, and punctures.
• Identify tyres requiring repair, replacement, or reinflation.
• Check tread depth, pressure, valve condition, and alignment indicators.
• Perform tyre repairs including patching, plugging, and tube replacement as applicable.
• Remove and replace tyres on light vehicles, heavy equipment, forklifts, trailers, and other operational assets.
• Ensure correct torquing, bead fitting, and rim installation procedures.
• Conduct tyre rotation based on wear patterns and equipment usage.
• Balance tyres to reduce vibration and promote even wear.
• Adjust tyre pressure according to OEM specifications and operational requirements.
• Track tyre stock levels and raise requests for new tyres, tubes, rims, and related material.
• Maintain correct storage of tyres and ensure proper labeling and segregation
• Safely operate tyre changers, air compressors, jacks, impact tools, and lifting equipment.
• Ensure tools are inspected, maintained, and returned to proper storage.JOB PURPOSE

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
Minimum Qualification
• Technical certificate in automotive mechanics or related field.

Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills
• 2–4 years of tyre repair and maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of tyre types, wear patterns, and inflation standards.
• Ability to use tyre-changing tools, compressors, and related equipment.
• Understanding of vehicle and equipment safety protocols.

• Tyre Repair/Servicing Certification
• H2S / BOSIET (if offshore required)
• PTW / LOTO Awareness Training
