Job Overview
Responsible for supervising, coordinating, and controlling all activities related to asphalt-laying operations at road projects, airport runways, taxiways, and associated infrastructure works. Ensures the work is executed safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and control the asphalt laying crew and equipment operators during road and airfield (runway/taxiway/apron) paving works
• Review work schedules, mix designs, and ensure work readiness before asphalt paving
• Coordinate with survey team to confirm levels, slopes, and layout before laying
• Work close with Consultants and quality team to ensure surface finish and compaction meet project requirements by conducting joint inspections during and after laying operation
• Ensure proper preparation of substrate layers (sub-grade, sub-base) before asphalt works. Monitor paving sequence (edge control, joint control, longitudinal & transverse joints).
• Plan daily work activities and allocate manpower, machinery, and materials to achieve production targets
• Report and rectify any defects or non-conformities immediately

Requirements

• Minimum 10–15 years of experience in asphalt-laying works for roads, highways, and airports runways/taxiways
• High School Diploma
• Valid UAE driving license preferred.
• Any nationality Acceptable (Except Pakistan)
